Dog is throwing up bile and has diarrhea?

a few days ago, my dog threw up some bile- just a little bit, now she has diarrhea, when she poops. I have been feeding her rice and pumpkin. The other day when I came home from work she had made a mess in her crate- today she was in her crate all day since we were gone all day- and it was clean except for a little bile. She has been throwing up a little bit of bile once a day- not a lot- a small amount. She has her appetite, and energy. should we continue the rice diet? and see how she is in a couple of days or should we be calling the vet?
