Pain in ribs under bone from kick. Possible Damage?

I am a small 21 yr old woman who is 5 ft tall. I was kicked in the ribs twice in the same spot with someone's barefoot with the heel part about 2 weeks ago. It is right in the middle where your bra strap would meet in the middle in the front right under my . (more towards my left , not directly in the middle of my chest.) You can't see a bruise on the outside however, it has felt bruised and still feels bruised. It hurts (not excruciating but kinda takes my breath away a little) when I lay on my stomach, when I sit slouching, when I touch it, sometimes when I lay on my side and sometimes when I stretch. (the last two not all the time). These were hard kicks and I was just wondering if even though there really isn't any outward evidence, if some damage could have been done internally to something.
