Why do christians do bad things?

Supposably over 90% of americans believe in god. So why is there so much crime, , child molestation, lying, cheating, divorce, premarital , abortion, gays(not that I have a problem with the last three)ect. It isn't all us evil atheists doing it. (divorce rate is 50%) Obviously your not all the saints you pretend to be, and instead just a bunch of hypocritial people who spend your time judging others. If I actually believed that my life here determins if I will spend eternity in peacfull bliss, then I would be a NUN. period. Certanly not a lawyer or George Bush.
