How do i help my friend?

I have this one friend who is daing this guy. Its been atleast two months and she tells me everything. She told me that he is a total jerk sometimes and acts like a three year old. When she does something he doesn't like or he doesn't get her own way, he goes off and pouts! I told her that she really needed to end it but shes scarred that he will get really mad. She told me that lately hes been mad and has been taking it out on her. I wanna be there for her and get this guy out of the picture fast before she gets hurt. How can i help her break up with the guy without her getting hurt?
