InDesign Link Problem?

When I link images into InDesign from .ai or .psd or .eps I get lines in them to where the outer frame of the image is. I've tried recreating images and relinking them totally and it doesn't work. Everytime I convert to pdf the lines are still there. I am using CS3. Has anyone else had this problem? Please help!
